Otoplasty or Ear Surgery

The  otoplasty, better known as surgery  of the ears, is indicated mainly in patients with prominent ears and consists of molding the cartilage of the ears through a small wound behind them so that at the end of the healing process they are practically imperceptible.

What type of anesthesia do we use?

The surgery is performed under local anesthesia and sedation.

Days of Internment?

It is carried out on an outpatient basis, it is not necessary to remain hospitalized.

Recovery time?

You can return to normal activities 3 to 5 days after surgery, it is recommended to wear a sports headband covering the ears for two weeks to keep the ears in a proper position during the healing period.
