Liposuction

The  liposuction  is a safe surgical technique used to remove unsightly fat deposits from certain areas of the body, including the face and neck, arms, trunk, abdomen, buttocks, hips and thighs, knees, calves and ankles.

Liposuction is not a substitute for weight reduction, but rather a method of removing localized deposits of fatty tissue that do not respond to diet or exercise.

The best candidate for liposuction is the relatively normal weight individual who has excess fat in certain areas of the body.

What type of anesthesia do we use?

It is performed by regional block or local anesthesia and sedation depending on the region to be treated and the patient's preference.

Days of Internment?

It can be carried out on an outpatient basis or with postoperative hospitalization of one night on average.

Recovery time?

Recovery time varies depending on the areas to be treated and the volume of fat removed, but varies between one and two weeks. It is recommended to wear a compression garment for 3 weeks.
